About

To me, an outfit is not complete without a well-chosen accessory or two. Every wardrobe needs them, they’re the hero pieces that elevate and transform an everyday outfit into a memorable one. Conversely, the wrong accessory can completely kill an otherwise well considered outfit.

I particularly like vintage and art deco items, great leather pieces that get better with age, and beautiful gemstones.

There are many women whose style I admire but I often come back to Marion Cotillard, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Thandie Newton and Diane Kruger for being a little bit less predictable and somewhat braver in their sartorial choices.

I have an ever-growing collection of Russell & Bromley boots, and can always find time for a car boot sale (a particularly British pass time), the excitement of what you might find is just too tempting!

I generally sidestep the classics in favour of a twist on a classic-why buy the brown loafers when you can buy the orange suede pair?

Accessorize All Areas is my attempt to collate some of the things I love and to continue to be inspired by others. I hope it gives people the courage to experiment with something a little bolder or more unusual.

I can often be found inadvertently dressing like Noel Fielding and am guardian to a lazy Greyhound called Cheerful Nick-yes really!
